April 18, 2013
This seems to be a popular sentiment here in Wisconsin as well as other parts of the world. It’s cold and rainy – the rain won’t stop – and at night it gets cold enough to see the occasional snowflake. We’ve had two decent days with a little sun out of the last ten. Since yesterday, another 2.6 inches of cold rain. In total, almost eight inches of cold rain and snowflakes since April 8. Die, Winter! Die! It’s April 18th, for goodness sake. I’d like to till the garden. My garlic and onions would like some sunshine and decent temperatures! And the rabbits, they’d like something to eat other than the leaves on my garlic and tulips. I wonder why they don’t eat the daffodils. Any ideas?
