He’s BA-A-A-A-a-a-a-a-ck … Mr Daaa-ble Check

Thank goodness, Mr Daaa-ble Check, Aaron Rodgers, will be returning to start at quarterback for the Packers against Da Bears.

GREEN BAY–Aaron Rodgers will be the Packers’ starting quarterback on Sunday when the Packers play against the Bears at Soldier Field.

“We’re preparing for the Chicago Bears with Aaron Rodgers as our starting quarterback,” Coach Mike McCarthy said. “I would say he’s ready to play.”

Rodgers was listed by the Packers as a full participant in Thursday’s practice.

“We feel it’s time for Aaron to play,” McCarthy said. “We need to go down there and win this game as a team. This is a decision everyone was waiting for. We wanted to get this done on Tuesday.”

Now, if the Pack just get Randall Cobb back things will be looking up. Unfortunately, Clay Matthews will be out since he reinjured his thumb last week. How about one of the many Packers rock anthems!

A resident of the “30 square miles surrounded by reality,” I spend most of my time teaching economics and statistics to undergraduate students. I enjoy, naturally, economics and business, but also science (I was once an astronomical observatory assistant), politics, photography, food, travel and sports. Madison has grown quite a bit since 1978 when Governor Lee Dreyfus made that remark. According to Wikipedia, Madison is 67.3 square miles of land and 16 square miles of water.
