Winter roses

This yellow rose bush has been blooming since late Spring. And, while temperatures have been as low as 23 degrees Fahrenheit it continues to produce buds. Winter is quickly approaching. We had a bit of snow already here at Ladybird Lane last week and the weather guy is telling us to expect a little more Tuesday. I hope not! The rest of the buds on this rose deserve a chance to blossom. Don’t they?

Thanks for commenting Michelle Marie. The temp is getting down to the low teens this week. I think some of those buds are going to have a hard time of it.

Thanks for commenting! Last Winter the weather was brutal. Two of the rose bushes didn’t make it. But, this one is better than ever.

Thanks for commenting. They’re a bit beaten up by the weather the last few weeks but they keep trying to show us Nature’s beauty.
